*Health Checks continue at the Conservation Clubhouse on the third Wed. of each month. These are monitored by nursing staff from a LaPorte Rehab and Nuring facility and retired Lion RN's. Particpating in Community Mill Pond Festival. August 25-26 Will have Lion Club Booth and hope to enroll new memebers.. Have several members in the PBI Vision Program working with Tom Flack Vision testing at local schools and events. Have enrolled 5 new members in 2007.Finding interest by having improved programs. Have built barrell train available for your picnics, or fund raisers. Already have won prizes for its construction and workmanship.Had a very good turn out for first-ever flea market held on June 16 at local park. Vendor fees, food and train rides receipts tagged for construciton of basketball court in Mill Pond Park.Successful chicken bar-b-que same day---a sell out. Installation of new officers on June 24, 2007. Welcome and Good Wishes are extended to new Governor Barbara and thanks expressed to PDG Margaret.
