*Health Checks continue at the Conservation Clubhouse on the third Wed. of each month. These are monitored by nursing staff from a LaPorte Rehab and Nursing facility and retired Lion RN's.
Particpated in Community Mill Pond Festival. Lions Club Booth resulted in three new members
Have several members in the PBI Vision Program.We are testing at local schools and events.
Have generated attendance interest by having improved programs.
Have built barrell train available for your picnics, or fund raisers.Contact Lion Gene aat 219-767-2372 Already have won prizes for its construction and workmanship.
Had a good turn out for second annual flea market held in June at local park. Vendor fees, food and train rides receipts tagged for park and civic improvements.Successful chicken bar-b-que same day---a sell out.
Installation of new officers in June. Installed new members in Sept. with pork chop and carry in dinner
Welcome and Good Best Wishes are extended to new Governor Kevin Row. Five Lions present for his Banner Night.Look forward to working with governor Kevin--a partner in our Mexico Mission Eyelgass Group.
Continue the sponsorship of the Leos Club at the South Central School
Looking forward to serving senior citizens of our Township at the annual Christmas dinner Dec.7. We honor one person with a Citizen of the Year plaque... Co-Sponsors w/ two other Lions Clubsd in formation of Leos Club at the local High School.Installation of 24 Leo Members on Nov. 21. Installed by Governor Kevin Roe. Power Point presentation of Lionism by Int. Director. Present also was PID Gene Rice and PDG Margaret and many proud parents.
